Detail of Point Blunt

To get an actual photograph of Blunt Point, go to Google Maps and enter the search term "Angel Island San Francisco". Pull the image around to get to Blunt Point where you will get the actual image (at least on May 2006) that this diagram was based on. The rocks in the image are brown lumps in my drawing.

The suggested path (red line) stays outside the rocks except for the one rock on the extreme SE. If there is an ebb tide you will want to stay close to the Island on the NE side, but on the SE side there is no motive to stay close, thus keep away from the beach, especially on a low tide.
