Strawberry Point

If you turn to your right (away from San Francisco Bay) as you row into the Sausalito Channel you will get to Strawberry Point in about 1200 m (3/4 mile). You will see the Point on your left (toward the North). This photo was taken 100 m before reaching marker "4".

The markers that define the Strawberry Channel are too far away to be seen here, but the arrow "14" indicates the position of marker "14", the entrance to the interior Strawberry Channel. The group of condominiums at the far end of the interior channel are indicated by the "C" arrow.

On your right you will see the main group of Sausalito houseboats. A large yellow ferry on the right edge of the houseboat cluster, just to the left of the sail boat masts, is a prominent marker.
