THE LENGTHS YOU HAVE TO ROW TO.....
In their Row4Life campaign (www.row4life.com), Charlie Woodward-Fisher and
Phil Harris are going to row 2,935 miles across the Atlantic with the aim
of raising a staggering £1million for Tommy's the baby charity and The
Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.

Charlie and Phil will join a race line-up of 26 teams on Sunday 27th
November who will race in purpose-built 24-foot boats from La Gomera,
Canary Islands to Antigua, West Indies. Rowing 2 hours on, 2 hours off,
the race could take them up to 60 days, with the current double-handed
record standing at 40 days, 5 hours and 53 minutes.

Having lost many friends to cancer, Charlie has chosen to support The
Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.

Phil, a photographer for The Daily Mirror, has chosen Tommy's the baby
charity, an organisation he has empathy for since his wife suffered
pre-eclampsia during her first pregnancy - a condition which came close to
claiming the lives of both his wife and their child.

Over 6 billion people live in the world today; over 1,600 people have
climbed Everest, over 600 people have travelled into outer space, but only
141 people have successfully rowed across the Atlantic.

So think of Charlie and Phil over Christmas, as you enjoy your turkey they
will be battling on, by then about half way across the Atlantic. The goal
is £1 million - a mere £1 / stroke. Make a Personal Donation now on
