This is the view of the OWRC at 11:45 on Monday the 1st day of 2006. The (predicted) water level was +6.9 ft, while the high the day before was +7.0 (for those who don't know what it normally looks like, the space between the palm trees and the railing is the dock, now under half a foot of water).

The water would have been up to, or inside our door but for the sand bags placed in the openings (see orange cone in foreground) in the cement block wall by the Harbormaster's staff .
