We welcome all interested future rowers, and those who already know how to row, to come visit OWRC in Sausalito, CA on Saturday morning, August 23, from 8:00AM to noon. After being greeted with complimentary coffee and pastries, we will love to show you around the boathouse, teach you the basic rowing stroke on our elite-level rowing ergometers, and then get you out on the water in a real boat! If you are an experienced rower, maybe from a competitive sweep rowing team (super common here), we will give you the skinny on skulling in open water. and get your started.

We will tell you all about the discipline of open water rowing and the very closely related, emerging sport of coastal rowing.

Get there early to maximize your time on the water. If you love it, we’ll get you signed-up for our learn-to-row program.

No sign-up or reservation needed. Just show up! Free parking. We will ask you to sign a liability waiver and attest that you can swim, but that is all. See you on the 23rd of August!
